When you create an account, we collect your email address and name. If you're tracking for a child, we may collect your child's name and age range.

Health Information

To provide our eczema management services, we collect information you voluntarily provide, including: flare-up details and symptoms, skincare products and routines, food and dietary intake, photos of affected skin areas, journal entries and notes, and known triggers and allergies.

Location and Environmental Data

With your permission, we collect location data to provide environmental context such as weather conditions, humidity levels, and pollen counts that may affect your eczema.

Device Information

We automatically collect device information including device type, operating system, and app usage data to improve our services.

Communication Data

When you opt in to notifications or email summaries, we collect your device push notification tokens and email preferences. We use third-party email services to send transactional emails including account verification, password resets, and optional weekly health summaries.

AI Chat History

Your conversations with our AI assistant are stored to provide context-aware responses and improve your experience. This includes questions you ask and the personalized insights provided to you.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and maintain the App's services; generate personalized insights about your eczema patterns; send you reminders and notifications (with your consent); improve and optimize the App; respond to your inquiries and support requests; and create aggregated, anonymized data for research purposes.

4. AI-Powered Analysis

Our App uses artificial intelligence to analyze your logged data and identify potential patterns and triggers. This analysis is performed to provide you with personalized insights. Your data may be processed by third-party AI services, but we ensure these providers maintain appropriate security and privacy standards.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption both in transit and at rest. Photos are compressed and stored in secure cloud storage. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with: service providers who assist in operating the App (cloud hosting, AI services); healthcare providers, but only at your explicit request (e.g., when you export a health summary); and legal authorities when required by law or to protect our rights.

You have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate or incomplete information; delete your account and associated data; export your data in a portable format; withdraw consent for optional data collection (such as location); and opt out of non-essential communications.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. Parents or guardians may use the App to track their child's eczema. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from users under 18. If you believe we have collected information from a minor without appropriate consent, please contact us immediately.

10. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services to provide our features: Google Cloud Platform (secure data and photo storage), Open-Meteo (weather and environmental data), and Resend (email delivery for verification, password resets, and weekly summaries). We also use AI services for pattern analysis and personalized insights. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
